So this last month has been a little more crazy than normal in the life of DevLyn (if you can even imagine that)
With two very busy babies we made the 13 hour car ride to Utah (normally 8-10 but with a nursing baby about 13 ugh) 4 times! But all well worth it. We got to spend a week with Devan’s Grandma Carol Clark, right before she passed away from battling cancer. Still teary eyed just writing this..ah… Any who, she was amazing and even though she was not my grandmother, I felt like she loved me like I was her own. She was fun, she was down to earth, loved everyone she met (and they knew it), and most of all she loved and knew her Savior. She will be missed in our lives and we are truly sad we won’t get those big grandma hugs…or see her laugh, which just made you laugh because she looked so happy and in the moment. Her funeral was beautiful. There was some amazing things said about her and her life. It was definitely a celebration of her life and left you wanting to be a better person. I would say she did her job here and she did it better than most.
With a heavy heart and some tears on my cheek- I love you Grandma Clark! I will miss you

Almost made me cry reading your blog about Grandma Clark. I keep putting off blogging about her because it is so emotional and I feel like I want to get it right. You’ve inspired me that it is just one of those things I need to do.
