I am still practicing with my camera lot lately.  I have been wanting to take pictures for my friend of her family and new baby, but wanted to make sure I didn’t mess it up   After a few days of trying I think I got some cute pictures of my babes.  I love this little kiddos.  I think I have beautiful kids, I am not going to lie, they are beautiful!

Now of course I messed up a few and Charlie didn’t quite do what I wanted her to…

OK so I haven’t been taking many pictures lately and thought it might be “fun” to take the kids outside by myself and pratice with my camera.  This is what I got…a lot of these are blurring, I know…

Nice Charlie…torturing her brother.  Just 2 seconds prior to this they did look cute sitting nicely together.

Then this.  I think she is thinking “come on already mom”  She is in her super hero costume by the way.

Then Beck looking like he is eating his hand….and some how I managed to focus on the leaves right next to him, but nothing else.

Cute but blurry.  At least the lighting was nice

These are the only kinda ok ones I got.  Good I guess for trying to get two kids to smile by myself and still learning how to even take a picture

I love Charlie and she is always by my side wanting to help mama.  Love my bestest cutest friend

OK so every now and then you just need to sit on the floor and be crazy with your kids…and take a funny picture.  Even if it means you end up looking like this and then sharing it and your huge zit with the internet world.  HAHAHA…good thing I don’t really care what I look like

(Actually I do, I am just trying to hide the fact that I look hideous in this picture) 

But Charlie looks AWESOME!  What a cool kid she is.  Puts a smile on my face.

Ahhh… I just have to laugh every time I look at this!

So this last month has been a little more crazy than normal in the life of DevLyn (if you can even imagine that)    With two very busy babies we made the 13 hour car ride to Utah (normally 8-10 but with a nursing baby about 13 ugh)  4 times!  But all well worth it.  We got to spend a week with Devan’s Grandma Carol Clark, right before she passed away from battling cancer.   Still teary eyed just writing this..ah… Any who, she was amazing and even though she was not my grandmother, I felt like she loved me like I was her own.  She was fun, she was down to earth, loved everyone she met (and they knew it), and most of all she loved and knew her Savior.  She will be missed in our lives and we are truly sad we won’t get those big grandma hugs…or see her laugh, which just made you laugh because she looked so happy and in the moment.  Her funeral was beautiful.  There was some amazing things said about her and her life.  It was definitely a celebration of her life and left you wanting to be a better person.  I would say she did her job here and she did it better than most.

So while I was trying to get my house ready for 13 people to come and eat a feast, I had to keep my almost 2 year old busy.  This picture shows a little jam, “colors” aka markers, and I think a bit of scrabbled eggs as well.  Enjoy..oh ps you can see that she colored her hair blue too…crazy girl

Don’t bit the hand that feeds you…in this case it happened to be her own ironically.  She got a little too excited eating her first donut hole.  Then she was very mad that she bit herself, you can see the disappointment in her face…hahaha

The good news is…Drum roll please….Vickie’s (Victoria Secret)  Does have nursing bras!  Who knew!  Birthday wish number 1 Granted!  Sweet mother of pearl!

I am liking this birthday a lot so far and its not even November yet!  Bora Bora is looking even more like a real place that could exist in my future life   (read post below if you are confused)  Well… probably not till I am old and gray..if then,  so  I will just take the bra and let the other two wishes cancel each other out.  I am good with that.  As long as I get that closet organizer hint hint Dev   It will only make life better~ benefit us both

And oh yes I still hate the Dentist, sorry Dentist man.  I am sure you are very nice, but when you were “cleaning” my teeth I wanted to interrupt you by screaming horribly load in pain.  I wanted to roll my terrible eyes, gnash my terrible teeth, and show my terrible claws!  Really did you need to poke my gum’s with that sharp silver tool…I know you did it on purpose.  I will get you back later…..

I think I might have to start my own blog soon if I am going to talk about bras…sorry men folk. 

With my birthday soon approaching in a few short weeks…Dev has been asking me what I would like as a present. Really there is only one thing I want slash feel I need at the moment. But, Dev’s thinking it is boring, no fun, not a worthy b-day prez…I have been imaging unrealistic presents I could ask for that would make what I want look a little better

So here is my list:

Teeth that brush/florid themselves, so I never have to visit a dentist again…because who ever likes the dentist?!?! By they way Dev we have an appointment next week. I will drive

Two! A nursing bra made by Victoria Secret.. come on ladies are you with me on this one?! I would really like some support Did you get my joke there? haha I am so funny

Three! A trip to Bora Bora…looks pretty cool there…I heard you can jet ski with a pack of dolphins..why not

Four! actually this one is my real one…cause I ran out of creative ideas that fast. Can I have some shelves for my side of the closet? There are at home depot waiting for me
